Our mission is to provide producers with access to environmentally friendly products that address soil problems and facilitate sustainable farming practices. With focus on proper soil analysis and evaluation, our goal is to assist producers to identify the underlying causes of the soil problems and develop understanding to correct these problems.
It's that time of year again, where we take some time to walk through the fields and investigate what the soil and plants are communicating.
Crop tours will be held at several Manitoba and Saskatchewan locations. The dates and locations are as follows:
The day will begin at 10:00am with a meeting that will involve a presentation on soil conditions, types, textures, problems and tools to use for evaluation. Following this will be lunch which will be provided to you by Back To Your Roots. After lunch everyone will head out to the fields where we will be digging up some dirt. We plan to look at the soil structures, use some different tools to evaluate the conditions, develop a baseline and discuss some strategies to improve the soil conditions and functions. Plant health and nutrition all start in the soil.
Plan to attend these invaluable walks to gain a deeper understanding of how the soil works and what you can do to achieve the greatest potential for your crop.
Please contact the reps above directly to get directions and to let them know you are planning on coming. We need to know how many to cook for!!!
Look forward to seeing you there!
