  1. Meet the Critters in Your Soil... Through the Microscope!
    A Two day Biology and Microscope Course.
    Dates: July 8 & 9, 2010
    Location: 15 - 2345 Ave. C North, Saskatoon, Sask.

    This two-day introductory microscope course will educate students on the Soil Foodweb. The first day of instruction will be based on the biology of soil - its importance in soil and plant health, and methods to improve upon its benefits using various inputs, including compost tea. After this concise introduction, the class will be trained on the microscope. Focus will be on learning to analyze soil, compost and compost tea for quality of biology. This workshop will ensure that student leaves the course confident and well-informed on the identification and population analysis of microbiology in soil, compost and compost tea.
